"Creating a Developer Central Account" by Dipen

Creating a Developer Central Account
Sandbox accounts are created on PayPal’s Developer Central website, located at
https://developer.paypal.com. Before you can create a Sandbox account, you must create a Developer Central account. Then you can create as many Sandbox accounts as you like. Take the time now to create a Developer Central account, if you have not done so already.
Once you have logged in to your Developer Central account, you can create your first Sandbox account by clicking the Sandbox tab on the Developer Central homepage, and then clicking the Create Account link located on the Sandbox page. You are encouraged to use a fictitious email address when you create Sandbox accounts, to avoid confusion between your Sandbox accounts and your live accounts.

When creating your Sandbox accounts, you can use fake contact information. Once you verify your Sandbox account (see the next articles for instructions), PayPal will prompt you to add a bank account to your Sandbox account. PayPal will generate a fake bank account number for you to use. Just accept the number and continue, and then make sure to confirm the bank account by clicking the Confirm Bank Account link on your Account Overview page. The usual random deposit is skipped for Sandbox accounts, and you can confirmyour bank accounts automatically. You can also add credit cards to your Sandbox accounts in this manner.
PayPal will generate fake credit card numbers for you to use, and they are automatically confirmed.

Tip:Developer Central uses cookies to remember returning client sessions. If you ever have trouble logging in to your Developer Central account, clear all of your browser cookies. This fixes a majority of Developer Central login problems.
